About the photographer-Stanley J. Forman

Stanley J. Forman, born in 1945, is a three-time Pulitzer Prize winner. He has also won the World Press Photo Award and numerous citations from the Boston Press Photographers Association. After his illustrious career in Boston newspapers, Forman joined Boston station WCVB-TV in 1983, becoming an award-winning cameraman. He won the Ramsdell Trophy for spot news five times in still photography and an equal number of times for spot news television. He has served as a fellow at the Nieman Foundation at Harvard University.
